Interesting analogies and angles of perception, especially at the end.  I like how you directed the attention from the "sugared' part to show down to a singularity, the leaf, and the "burial" of unwanted feelings.  There's a certain excitement in the changing seasons there.  It's almost like master filming, in capturing vivid visuals.  Also, I can picture myself wandering the path in a beleaguered and emotional state, right along with the direction it takes, to find the wholesome solution of the environment and atmosphere easily relatable.  It's like you're seeing nature "shed" in change, as you're comforted with observation, and vicariousness along with it, to "shed" your anxiety.  Along with the snow, is like a bright excitement, at least that's how I interpret it anyway.  This may seem over-definitive, but as to point out the potential, this captures transition in emotion, observation, definition, presence, season, natural aesthetic, etc.  It could be interpreted many ways, or perhaps abundant meaning that comes together, or even just simple appreciation.  Great job overall.  Thanks for sharing!

right, lol. Yes the poem reflects that the trees had shed their leaves, and in turn they
are helping me to shed anxiety. I am suffering some severe anxiety, so you can find
this shedding of despair in a lot of my pieces, as if trying to create hope that I can shed
the negative.

What a beautiful ode to the forest and its trees, I do believe trees can hear us cry. They are comforting and healing, nature is. Love this piece, the imagery is amazing.

That last line really made me think a little. We all need a place where our decayed foliage can be buried, and place for something new is made. I really enjoyed the read, especially since it brings back memories of growing up near a forest.
