Unattainable

In quiet corners where the sunlight plays,
Safa sits immersed in tales untold.
Thick-rimmed glasses frame her thoughtful gaze,
A coffee cup she cradles as of old.

Her smile, infectious as the morning light,
Illuminates the shadows in my mind.
Her laughter, like a seraph's pure delight,
A heavenly fanfare, joyful and unconfined.

Her every curve is nature's finest art,
Like puzzle pieces fitting flawlessly.
In worn-out shirt and panties set apart,
She shames the models in their finery.

This Persian beauty, nerdy and sincere,
The girl next door who steals my every sigh.
She is so real, so sexy, and so near,
Yet far away—a dream that passes by.

I long for Safa, yearning deep and fine,
For she is all I want but can't be mine.
