Sometimes, I Wonder
Sometimes I wonder, if the hands of fate,
Will act again.
And bring us where we began.
If destiny repeals a prior mistake,
And brings us together, in it's wake.
Sometimes I wonder, if it's true,
All these feelings, I feel for you.
Are you a flame, from the past,
Meant to burn, but not to last.
Sometimes I wonder, if that's so,
Why then have I, not let go.
Relieve you to some others arms,
Away then, from my harm.
Sometimes I wonder, about these things.
And of the troubles that they bring.
And yet to you, I hold on,
To your fire, til my skin is gone.
Will act again.
And bring us where we began.
If destiny repeals a prior mistake,
And brings us together, in it's wake.
Sometimes I wonder, if it's true,
All these feelings, I feel for you.
Are you a flame, from the past,
Meant to burn, but not to last.
Sometimes I wonder, if that's so,
Why then have I, not let go.
Relieve you to some others arms,
Away then, from my harm.
Sometimes I wonder, about these things.
And of the troubles that they bring.
And yet to you, I hold on,
To your fire, til my skin is gone.
