Into Shreds
Watching you breathe in
the same air as me,
sharing the very roof and planet
with you,
makes me want to rake my skin,
tear it into shreds,
peel it layer by layer,
crawl away of any scraps left,
set every remnant alight
and flee from any reminder
of you.
