Lost in the deep
I sink in
Into the deep
The hue of indigo blue
The sun shines through
The breath replaced by bubbles
That float to the top
I wonder if I should stop
Sinking
The further I go
The more I let go
The light
captures my eyes
Maybe, I might
Hold on a little longer
A stronger
arm pulls me out
I let out the air I’d held
My skin is pale
I yell in shock
I met a kind face
His shoes were misplaced
I was lost in the dark
But you were the spark
That pulled me out
What were we talking about?
Into the deep
The hue of indigo blue
The sun shines through
The breath replaced by bubbles
That float to the top
I wonder if I should stop
Sinking
The further I go
The more I let go
The light
captures my eyes
Maybe, I might
Hold on a little longer
A stronger
arm pulls me out
I let out the air I’d held
My skin is pale
I yell in shock
I met a kind face
His shoes were misplaced
I was lost in the dark
But you were the spark
That pulled me out
What were we talking about?
