Your laughter seeds my soul and your smiles shades my pain.
Your hugs fill me with warmth and at those moments I feel a change.
We dated as kids but now as grown up this doesn't seem the same.
You said let's start this over from the beginning and that everything will be okay.
You reassured me that your not going anywhere, no matter whose to blame.
One droplet at a time, as you guide me through the rain.
