Vacancy :Said the Mind to the Soul

The mind was in a dark hole
Suddenly...Soul appeared and sat next to Mind
Placing arms around the Mind for healing and consoling

Mind: Peace is all I want. Just Peace
Soul: Is that all?
Mind: Well I would tranquillity...but it's tough...heart can't rest without nourishment...


Mind: Can someone love me ?
Soul:  Yes, because I believe in love
Why come you don't
Mind:  Because I have been hurt so badly. I gave so much of my heart I don't think I have one left to give. I know I have something there because I still feel it beating

Soul:  What about letting your heart rest within you?
Mind:  I[u] don't know...
I can't... If it were that easy I would have long ago. Think I lost so much of me. Trying to love it hurts. It burns

Soul:  Why not give it a try?? Trying should always be an option
Mind:  Cause the one thing i don't believe is myself...I'm not reliable
Mind: My place for my heart has been possessed by another...
My heart is out of a home. It's hard. You can't just place your heart anywhere, ya know?? I have looked everywhere...
