Cold World
The world is cold
No one weeps for you
Pretending not to Judge
Speaking pessimistic about him and her
The world is a cold place
We all want the dream
Sure others want it fast
Others can deal with the time it's going to consume
The ones who are stuck in the middle...the struggle eats them up and spits them out
The world is cold
Not warm, not even luke warm but cold
No cable knit cardigan can block this blizzard
Fake smiles only to laugh at you later
Fake hugs only to kick you out sooner
Fake acceptance, scheduling changes in your life within a day
Fake people who stand behind you only to be against you
The world is cold
No one is ever there when your at the bottom
Only there with you to see your climb to the top
People only hang with the successful
and the failures all hang off each other like paper to a collage
It's sick, this cold world
cold thoughts
it's erotic, the way I see it so crazy, the way I live it
The world is a fucked up cold place

awe..i feel for you. well written and sometimes you just have to eliminate the neg in your life. it helps me. in fact i just rid myself of the one who was as described in your poem. i now feel so much better. just an idea. rid the neg, bring in the pos. good job.

Thanks Olivia! :) That's what my inner desire is to eliminate the waste, I mean it is almost the end of the year just a few more months....I'm cleaning out my closet :)
