Flowers litter the scene

Little souls that are headless
Deep in the heart of Texas

Can’t believe that it’s been a year
Cowards in blue on their phone

400 hundred strong
Fiddling and diddling

In the hall while inside
He’s slaying little ones

One fucked up punk with an AR
Makes these so called heroes
Cower in the hall

Never pulled the trigger until
He was unleashed on little lambs
Trying to learn in the classroom

As blue men on the perimeter
Duck and run for cover

Forgot what they swore
To uphold and PROTECT

Especially little ones
Led to slaughter in the classroom

Still can’t figure it out it’s like a riddle
Wrapped in an enigma in a police car

Love the blue that protects
But these cowards
