Last words and closed doors (Light Version)
I never imagined, on the day I knew,
How deeply I wanted you, how much I grew.
But you had moved on, found your way,
And I cherish the memories of our shared days.
Regret fades, replaced by light,
For the love we had, the moments bright.
Seeing you thrive, your joy so clear,
Fills my heart with warmth, my dear.
On the day I realized what I must do,
To open my heart, to be true.
Though our paths diverged, our spirits soar,
Our story lives on, forevermore.
Our “us,” what we built with care,
A love so strong, beyond compare.
I’m grateful for the time we shared,
For every moment, every word.
Now these things, they matter still,
With fond memories, our hearts fill.
Our chapter ends, but love remains,
In the joy, in the gains.
How deeply I wanted you, how much I grew.
But you had moved on, found your way,
And I cherish the memories of our shared days.
Regret fades, replaced by light,
For the love we had, the moments bright.
Seeing you thrive, your joy so clear,
Fills my heart with warmth, my dear.
On the day I realized what I must do,
To open my heart, to be true.
Though our paths diverged, our spirits soar,
Our story lives on, forevermore.
Our “us,” what we built with care,
A love so strong, beyond compare.
I’m grateful for the time we shared,
For every moment, every word.
Now these things, they matter still,
With fond memories, our hearts fill.
Our chapter ends, but love remains,
In the joy, in the gains.
