Fractured Walls

They tremble, trying to release the horror buried deep,
yet all they manage is a shudder, like a silent scream,
cracks disperse with every disarray, heralding collapse.

If only they could tear out my larynx, speak in my sleep
for I'm unable to utter the darkness we both witnessed,
voice out our eruption, before we crumble into ruins and demise.

Turn into ashes, together.
