Go ahead and blame it on society
We’ll all relish in your propriety
But this institution’s what you make it
Watched you build it up so you could break it
And now you undermine what gives you strength
Say it’s unsinkable and yet it sank
So you’re setting fire to your only hope
then cry as it all goes up in smoke
You can’t blame it all on their corruption
You’re the result of your own destruction
