I find this poem really confusing, Everavalon; not in its phrasing but in its meaning. How can a deity, a goodness of divine nature, also be one of deceit?

Fair enough though there is the subject of dystheism which is (I’m quoting) Dystheism (from Ancient Greek: δυσ-, romanized: dus-, lit. 'bad' and θεός theos "god") is the belief that a god is not wholly good and can even be considered evil, or one and the same with Satan. Definitions of the term somewhat vary, with one author defining it as "where God decides to become malevolent". Hope this clears up the confusion

In Greek mythology there were much more gods, which made some Greek hystorians say,
the number of gods exceeds the number of people. and for one man so many gods, something really ironic, and ridlculous, so what you say is utterly true, gods may even have such weakness...
