rhododendrons
these old
rhododendrons,
each with
harsh leaves,
but the
beauty of
the blooms,
filling in
the crevices
of what
i lack,
their roots
have settled
into the
weight
of the
cool earth,
their
disappearing
shadows
soothing any
struggles
i have
burdened
myself with.
