hello pain and disillusionment
we're alone outside of the suffocating noise
we can meet within my soul
sanctuary is there comforted by my love

any need no matter how little
let me cater to your gentle wishes
I ache with you
I found you hidden in the dark

a warm place to get rest
within my solemn vow
confidence in myself
so I can treat you well

I am beguiled and disappointed
worry besets me
let us take care of each other
pain is regret's cousin
it's all relative

a momentary part of our lives
disenchanted wisdom
I've forgotten my past lives

so I wonder did I lose my previous wisdom gathered
knowledge seems collected and then forgotten
my sorrow speaks fluently to all levels I reside in

painful equation I have some doubts
I think I was made to suffer
