to label each piece of my poetry
as “Certified AI Free”
or, for the sake of brevity
CAIF one can easily say
or quizas CIAL
(Say-E-Ah-L)
if I take advantage
of writing in my
favorite foreign language.
I want the reader to know that it's only me.
whom for my verse
should be venerated
better said, appreciated
okay, just tolerated
frankly I'd settle for read
Soon each poet
will have to invent
their own, custom language
until such time
the computers manage
that too to ravage

I fear we’re already at this point. Luckily I’m so dumb I don’t think I could tell the difference. But it sure is scary we’re just handing over our brains to this mechanical drone. While there’s humor in this there is a bottom line of truth. Great piece of observation. H🌷
