scattered epiphanies I gather them as stars
twinkling in the melancholy dark
to behold the beauty sparks fascination
little found truths that keeps me searching

inside the sorrow is happiness
reaching in and massaging doubt
infatuation with altruism

I hold my breath with anticipation
my trajectory to truth seems bent on rolling through the fog
a diamond can only form under obscene amount of pressure

I feel the weight upon my emotions
a rare gem resides inside
a soul reflecting hope

spinning in suspension of bleak occurrences
has me sifting through my memories
collecting the refined ideas that set into motion my search

refracted light shining gems born of innocence fractured
once reflecting only one dimension
is now dazzling it its display of knowledge
