In Silence

In the quiet of my room, I reach
for solace in the keys, the strings,
speak to echoes of my dreams
and drown my doubts in fleeting things.

I’ve whispered tales till voices fade,
shared my heart with shadows, gray,
but silence holds the final word—
No one listens to what I say.

Countless verses, countless tunes,
Still my heart beats out of tune.
The stars above, they blaze and fall,
But miss the message of my call.

I seek the skies, I search the night,
For signs that I’m not lost in flight,
Yet faith feels hollow, prayers fall short,
In an empty court, I play my part.

Once, I longed for all to see,
For the world to notice me,
Now I crave a touch, a sign,
to guide me through this lonely time.

A thousand stories, songs untold,
I feel the weight of what’s been sold.
No one hears the pain I sing,
So why do I keep asking?

Stars, they wane and miss my plea,
In the silence, I’ll just be,
Hoping someone, somewhere near,
Will hear the echoes of my fear.

Sometimes when I'm alone and the heavens feel like stone, my faith falters. I keep pushing through. This was a time I felt lonely.
