Shine
I’m always waiting
For the sun to shine,
the wind to change
I am clearly aging
I don’t have time to wait
Or so I say
But yet I have time to sit
Like I’m waiting for the sun to shine
Or like I’ve fallen behind
I’ve fallen behind countless times
Sometimes I go without rhyme
But the tides have changed
So have I
Maybe it’s time for me to shine

So I’ve put my life on hold for so many people and I’ve finally taken a step forward for myself. I’m going back to college to fulfill my dream of being a marine biologist and hopefully soon I’ll move to the beach. It’s scary but I look forward to this chapter

The first three lines would sum up my attempts to enjoy the sea these past two weeks (two trips I didn't get to swim in the sea at my favourite beach, where skinny dipping is allowed, because I either forgot to bring something crucial or the tide condition was not comfortably safe. I am hoping tomorrow it could be '3rd time lucky".
