seedling
gently kissing the wind and then letting it go
I smile through the tears
flowing through my soul
tenderly I greet my old being
my sanctuary open to receive the part of me you never see
sorrow's garden in full bloom
each bud's face turned upward to receive
the gift of my grief
accepting my loneliness isn't emptiness
it's the best version of my heart
blue in the sanctity of sacredness
happiness is a rainbow high in the sky
you only see it as sadness rains down on our world
drifting across the sky a dandelion seed
a wish and a prayer it is received in the hollows of another soul
