magic
entertaining the shadows across my mirror
when at first I look I though it was me
but nay it was ringer with an elongated chin
sharp looking eyes and a devilish grin
it was saying something, a chant
then suddenly it was behind me
directly communicating to my mind
it said it will bode well with you not to fight
relax and take a trip with me it's your fate
he moved quickly I was blankly staring
he said over here my dear
then we enter a portal
I felt tingles up my spine
we were time traveling
he said to a past life
the mistakes I made there
I was making again
the powers that be we're watching
soon I saw a thousand eyes twinkling
here is your problem you don't listen to good advice
you think you know it all
you don't see the flaw in your thinking
we demonkind applaud your effort
and consider you family
oh dear one we are getting older
while you're not maturing
you're to marry in the heavens
but love we question if you're ready
we can't pass you unless you get over this
tumbling through time you haven't lost your wanderlust
the problem is you are too attached to the humans
you forget your immortality you are not mortal
they will only let you down then wither away
child we mourn your loss
but is it wisdom to hold on
in the infinite cloud they go on to see their families
we have arranged a match for you
but you seem determined to travel with Adonai
place to place space pirating
but this is where the problem lies
you get attached and make judgement calls
they aren't yours to make
troublesome girl what are we to do with you
now change your soot covered clothing
and present yourself to your father in something becoming
how are we to expain you've been out there toiling in the black stuff
use you magic wisely your Father expects you to take your studies seriously
to direct your magic not allowing to go wild
it is a natural gift you ignore
silly girl ignoring will not make it go away
push the light from the sky
and say a spell
your Father approaches he expects a full report
