invited me in and it frightened me
when two soul's join it is with deep meaning

let things go bad
let them fall apart
I would bleed out if you were to pull away
 
my love finds a place among the scars to receive you
broken promises grow thick in my sanity
my soul would still fight to preserve your memory
 
I don't let the world take from me
I don't believe in temporary
there is no such love
it is ever present
it doesn't float away with the latest fancy
 
instead it recognizes these are fascinations
and as humans we have many
