Scars
These tattoos are my body armor
They define who I am
They show I am battle tested
And ready
Ready for whatever life will throw my way  
My skin is bruised
My mind has experienced trauma
My heart has stitches
I will still cry
I will still bleed
But no matter what kind of pain  
Life knocks me down with  
I will get up
Stronger and more powerful each time
My scars will be more vibrant
More colorful
My scars give me character  
My scars give me strength  
Because I am surrounded by champions
Family
Friends  
Faith
They are my backbone
They give me comfort
They give me courage
And determination  
Determination to be better
To make the world better
Because I know
Together anything is possible
Nothing is unaccomplishable
I know life will add more tattoos  
More ink to my character
I am ready for lifes paintbrush
