i've got the jug, babe,
if you've got the time
and i've got some strings
if you've got a rhyme
and i've got a pen
to draw you a dream
of utopian peace
or just think up a scheme

pauper and king
and dreamer and doer
and maker of art,
a poetic hopeful,

dispenser of blues
