Momma

Momma Had it rough
 when I was growing up
 four kids and a habit
When things were bad
She always had to have it

But Jesus was her lord and savior
so she made it to heaven
that I know for sure

If God
Can save an angel
with a broken wing
Then i know
there's still Hope
For a sinner
 like me..

After all my sins,
the devil still
aint found a way to win.
If there's a reason
 I made it through
all my trauma..

 It was  because
of one special woman
It was momma.

She did her deeds....
And she had her needs...
Through a lost soul
I found out exactly where
I wanna go

If I look beyond
the sands of time
It begs to wonder
What's at the end
of the line

if only we knew,
would we change
 the way that we are,

If God
Can save an angel
with a broken wing
Then i know
there's still Hope
For a sinner
like me..
After all my sins,
the devil still aint found
 a way to win.

If there's a reason
 I made it
 through all
my trauma..

 It was  because
of one Special woman
It was momma.

She tried to give us all
 a little piece of mind,
shes why i
 try to walk
 this straight line

Looking back now
if I would of listened
Could of saved my self
 so many problems
And avoided all that trauma

i guess thats  why
I keep wishing on this star
That heaven wasn't that far...
Because
of Momma

If God
Can save an angel
with a broken wing
Then I know
there's still hope
to see her up in heaven
An earn my Own wings and halo

After all my sins,
 the devil still aint
found a way to win
If there's a reason
 I made it
 through All my trauma..

 Its  because of one
 special woman
It was momma.

Momma had it rough
 when I was growing up

 four kids and a habit
When things were bad
She always had to have it
But Jesus was her lord and savior

so she made it to heaven
that I know for sure
