Image for the poem orbit

orbit

dwindling in the outstretch hands of time
I lose myself in the empty greed of it
I don't know my origins

greeting me from space are strangers
beings that peek in on me from time to time
they are very inquisitive

thinking very logically
my mind must seem a twisted maze of feeling
they say they taste tears on my cheeks but don't know sorrow

feeling something for me perhaps pity
they view the humans sadly understanding of our solitary existence
they are part of a collective and can manipulate things in such a way
they always have somebody to get them free of trouble

I tell them I am an enigma I am deeply tapped into the ancient magics
stirring it around me they realize I am demanding privacy
a lone creature heavily guarded with wards

I tap into their minds and access their mainframe
soon I will ascertain where they are from
in my book their is no elite classes
just images of beings who have yet to meet the whole family yet

they will get used to me I am patient with the curious
I am cruel with bullies
