The Dragon

I hid behind a rock
As i heard the dragon
Return to her cave
I could hear her breathing
As plumes of dark smoke
Rose from her jaws
The throbbing furnace within
Ready,at any point, to erupt
I could hear
Her heavily taloned feet
Crunch through gold, like shingle
I peeked around the rock
As i watched the dragon
Approach her throne
As she then sat down, and rested
I didn't dare move
Or even breathe
Lest i accidentilly
Jingled the gold around my toes
I was also aware, of another dilemma
As i was desperate for a pee
And had been contemplating
Whether i could crouch down, and pee silently
Hoping not to awaken the dragon
At which point the dragon spoke
"I can hear your thoughts!"
"If you leave my cave right now,
I'll let you go, just don't pee here!"
I immediately complied
And ran from the cave
I never, until this day
Spake of my encounter with a dragon
