M'lady Moon
wings glisten upon a breeze
gentle murmurs as feathers fan
soft calls in low-throated hum
windblown whispers between ancient trees
their creak & moan stirs the blood
as breath held in anticipation is released
darkness shimmers beneath her glow
& night swoons
pulse racing at her silver lacing
M'lady Moon comes

I do love the ethereal way you write about night. Good luck, sweet friend, in the comp!

Night is my sanctuary. Shadows have always been allies for me. And the moon my ruling force. Thank you so much, Betty!

As someone who has a close connection with the moon, I love this little tribute to the moon, sis 💖

It feels like a very small tribute indeed, but it needs no more said. She is sublime. Thank you so much, sis 💖

Re. M'lady Moon
A tribute to the moon, personalifying it, with faintly erotic undertones, eg these lines:
gentle murmurs as feathers fan
soft calls in low-throated hum
their creak & moan stirs the blood
as breath held in anticipation is released

I'm happy you picked up on those undertones. Sometimes I think I'm too subtle. Thank you so much, Solomon_Song

I am pure Moonchild. Don't get me started on M'lady...I can ramble like nobody's business. This one I kept short. Thank you so much, Styxian
