Perfect Girl
Spoon out my eyes
And see what I believed
That innocence is just for kids
Seems you were deceived
I didn't have to leave
You were you hid
Climb inside this hole
You made in my heart
And die in me, my sweet
You just can't restart
You're tearing you apart
Where shall we meet?
Fall straight down to me
Then carry me away
Where should we go?
To some yesterday?
Where we know what to say?
Then realize the answer is no
Sit and scream with me
What only we need to hear
Our demons come to pass
The nightmares that we fear
Morbid thoughts too severe
Rather eat broken glass
Let me swallow you whole
You're the perfect drug
One that numbs the world
Squashes all the bugs
And gives my heartstrings a tug
Such a perfect girl
And see what I believed
That innocence is just for kids
Seems you were deceived
I didn't have to leave
You were you hid
Climb inside this hole
You made in my heart
And die in me, my sweet
You just can't restart
You're tearing you apart
Where shall we meet?
Fall straight down to me
Then carry me away
Where should we go?
To some yesterday?
Where we know what to say?
Then realize the answer is no
Sit and scream with me
What only we need to hear
Our demons come to pass
The nightmares that we fear
Morbid thoughts too severe
Rather eat broken glass
Let me swallow you whole
You're the perfect drug
One that numbs the world
Squashes all the bugs
And gives my heartstrings a tug
Such a perfect girl
