I like the lyrical feel of this. I'm fantasizing about musicians I'd like to have perform it. Ever heard of Zero 7? They are coming to mind. As I'm interpreting the people run and hide refrain, it's like you can line someone up in the sights of the kaleidoscope, but they'll instantly shift into a different pattern- they can't be depended on.

Thank you. I heard of Zero 7. Aren't they an electronic band? Had a few kaleidoscopes as a kid.
