Cycle Again

Never took my advice
I promise I'm telling you right

What I gave you should have sufficed, but
You weren't hearing it right

Clearly

You had been broke
Too many times
So many lies
I can't lift you
Out of your pit of hell
Oh well, no fairytale to tell
I can tell you fell from way up high
I see rivers flowing with potential
But baby, you were too flooded with issues
I can't get you out of your own head
So I'm no longer in your bed
Listen
It's hard to see the vision
With a heart on empty
Kinda hard to put effort
When your heart's not in it
And life keeps spinning around
May your feet touchdown
Into some arms that can heal you
Build a bridge
To tear down walls
That refill the void of
Insecurities
Impurities
So you can be open
To what love has to offer
Instead of what you offer up to it
My advice
Learn to walk
Before you run again
Trust me, you will run again.
