My love that I keep in a shell?
My anger that I hide so well?
What do you want to see?
A smile to show I am swell?
Words that I can not spell?
I am not all that. I am ME!
I want to scream and yell!
This is Me! and I am in hell!
This is what I want to be
A lover with his demoiselle
A knight or a fucking rebel
Unfortunately I’m not so free
I merely live in a carousel
A hypocrite inside a seashell
So please don’t come close to me
This is not where I want you to dwell

It's so hard to let people come close & at the same time we want to be seen. It's a fucked up paradox.
