Alarm Bells
You wage war like alarm bells
You stay quiet until daylight
And you fulfill like a dark descent
A cold shade washing over me
The distance is measured by heavens
And it always takes a part of me
Slow on the rise from everything
I let out a smoggy sigh of relief
Nature tells us to break away
Swallows whole to chew us out
Celebrate the now in the meantime
It says with a motherly smile.

A cold shade washing over me
The distance is measured by heavens
And it always takes a part of me
Slow on the rise from everything
I let out a smoggy sigh of relief
