On seeking wholeness in a hammock

      the guilt that gnaws
    the lessons learned
  old wounds opened
new scars earned
grief gently bleaches
  as sun peeks ‘round trees
    loss ripens to gratitude
      through tender breeze
    the bygones are past
  so receive what is real
not all things can last
  but all can heal

Author's Note
Just spent a week "unplugged" in a forest... and a lot of time in a hammock. I think I finally let some things go.
