Surrogate Daughter
Since you came into my life theres a purpose you renew
Understanding that you need me as much as I need you
Realizing that because of you I now matter too
Ready to have your back in any goal that you pursue
Observing your tenacity has made me change my view
Grateful to celebrate the accomplishments that you acrue
Any time that you feel broken I will be your glue
Take you by your hand and I will help to guide you through
Every time you feel unworthy I'll show you that's not true
Daughter you are amazing and I'm filled with so much pride
Anytime you need me I will be right by your side
Unconditionally ready to put my needs and wants aside
Giving all I have cuz of the joy that you provide
Hope and a feeling of worth are what you have supplied
Thrilled that I can come along and be part of this ride
Even if you're sinking I'll keep your head above the tide
Reinforcing the amazing qualities you already have inside

You are my family. Blood is irrelevant. I love you and I want nothing but the best for you. I am here for you and I will remain here cheering you on every step of the way. I am beyond grateful that you came into my life. Your support means so much to me. Your kindness, your strength, your courage, your wisdom, your beauty, your grace, your selflessness all inspire me.
