Unyielding Universe

Into her core, one final guest will tread,
With silent steps that lead to a last breath.
Her dance of life, with pleasures spread,
Will halt, as certain as the call of death.

Each creature walking beneath the sky
Must face the end of their heart's journey.
The flexy prancing of her body's light,
Will cease at the closing of this night.

The stage that held her enticing form,
Where once she moved with grace, will hold her not.
She touches herself and remembers her lovers
All this will fade as she falls in death's snare.

In dark moments, authored by unforgiving skies,
All that ever was will be dark and stilled.
She’ll quiver and claw at the strings of life
But the universe, unyielding, will close her eyes.
