gluing itself to
changing hues
feigning nooses
in seeping thoughts of demons leeching
I digest bottles of bleach to leak, lest
poison stem free in my empty system

Fucking hell. This just reached something in me.
I had a very tragic relationship with a guy who ended up sadly commiting suicide many years after we ended. He’d consumed drugs, bleach, alcohol… fuck… he really wanted to go. Nobody even knew he was in the flat for quite some time. I can’t even imagine.
I guess this read kinda took me back there in a strange way.
I think about your imagery here… that blue worm. How it speaks so strongly of depression and if the emotions that burrow themselves under the surface. The imagery here is thick and dark and palpable.
A tough read, but a worthy one.

Hey M, truly sorry to hear that, I've been writing late at night which is perhaps leading to some more depressing writes on a whole, I want you to know that I never have and never will drink bleach, was just rambling a little for a competition entry which i don't normally do until recently. I do have strong feelings about a metaphorical worm inside me that i tie to some addiction stuff, so that's real I am sorry to hear that though and thank you for sharing
