Pause, Rewind...Stop!!!

Yesterday night I was in trouble-
too much of drinking,
too much of dancing,
and suddenly I got dizzy.
When I reached my car-
the doors were open,
the dickey was open,
there lay a female body, a dead body.
I looked outside-
it was raining,
a very long queue ahead for security checking,
there was a barrier and they stopped everybody.
I took the other lane to back-street-
it was all barren,
I struggled for the beer-can,
the steering slipped left-right, the car stopped suddenly.
I rolled down the narrow lanes-
the cop arrested me,
I was drunk and they found a corpse in the dickey,
the magistrate declared my death sentence.
Now it’s 5 A.M-
I am gargling ferociously,
the sink tap is running fiercely,
it will take me some time to normalcy.
I looked at the mirror,
the dead girl was standing beneath the shower,
I shouted, ran through and hugged my mom tightly.
she jerked me up-
“what happened dear?”
“tell me the reason of your fear?”
“a bad dream, yesterday night…” I began to gabble!

In my childhood I often had nightmares and I used to jump out of my bed and drank lots of water. It was sweating all over, a faster heart beat, and when mom asked me what happened, I could only half-remember what just I saw! So mom used to say, “alright go and narrate your dream to the tap water, and it will wash away the evils…”, and then she used to instruct, “Don’t sleep with your hands over your chest”. How much she was valid I never examined, but the fear and shock was so much, that I followed them like the omens, and even sometimes tried to associate the same when I had a bad dream.

Check out this logic defying poem, and the script is very fast as if rewinding a nightmare before the tap…splash, splash, splash!!!
