I Eat My Spaghetti With Chopsticks
I'm still learning
to love myself
the air tastes different
Mother moon can tell
stare into mirrors
bruises fade well
I know this face
I know I fell
gales of laughter
once an empty shell
I lie among ashes
and rebuild my health
stags in suburbs
please don't leave me now
I've only just discovered
what I've been without
wade in water
never by myself
I'm recalling signs
I put on a shelf
encourage my chaos
every facet counts
my divine existence
rests on a knowing lap
I'll fulfill my purpose
I will make you proud
I will not hide myself
you have shown me how
insecurity in one palm
courage cradled in the other
let them both be cupped together
to forge an essence like no other
to love myself
the air tastes different
Mother moon can tell
stare into mirrors
bruises fade well
I know this face
I know I fell
gales of laughter
once an empty shell
I lie among ashes
and rebuild my health
stags in suburbs
please don't leave me now
I've only just discovered
what I've been without
wade in water
never by myself
I'm recalling signs
I put on a shelf
encourage my chaos
every facet counts
my divine existence
rests on a knowing lap
I'll fulfill my purpose
I will make you proud
I will not hide myself
you have shown me how
insecurity in one palm
courage cradled in the other
let them both be cupped together
to forge an essence like no other
