The moon ran low on solstice night
as spring to summer made the switch
swept by Luna's chardonnay light
to gild the wiccans in their niche
or slope on by the window sill
suffusing every grimoire hex
with primordial moonbeam thrill,
turning old curses into sex,
since making charms from hidebound spells
is what the lamp of love is for,
as flesh in moonlight soon foretells
to more actinically adore,
warm midsummer nights, and sweet smells,
of anatomy to explore!
