Her Delight

White is her delight
Her eyes shone her light
As she lays in water's embrace,
Her veil now hide her gaze.

The trees stand and watch,
Bowing gently, and proud.
Feet kisses and creates ripples in the lake,
Alas! It seems for me it is too late.

As lake cradles her form in a gentle tide.
She moves, drifts and hide.
Her eyes seek a distant space,
I can no longer trace that maze.
