the day the world prayed
that angels flew faster than missiles
that love was explosive
that heros lived
to rebuild all lost in the rubble
that borders would be erased
homes built with the same shovel
for every land mine to open the dirt
may a tree be planted
for every homeless fed
may a blessing be granted

that peace was on the press
that there is liberation for the oppressed
