Respect is a thing of the Past

I used my good smile and my kind words too much
I get no thanks or no love in return
Why do bad things happen to good people?
I learned from my troubles and changed my ways
But I guess I have to go back to those bad ways
Showing respect will soon be a gift
I'm always there for those who need me
I'm there to listen to those with pain
I'm there to hug,when no one else is around
I'm there to comfort when everyone else is stone cold
But being like this to my peers and family will soon dissolve
"Being", is so different from "Doing"
Well in that case I will Do
I will not care nor shall I Comfort
My shoulder will be taken from a invisible cheek
Don't come to me in your times of agony
Don't come to me when you have no listener
Don't come to me for advice
Don't come to me when all your decisions have been teared down
It really does hurt to say that I will not give a fuck anymore
Showing my kind feelings to girls,when at the end they choose the jerk
"Oh your to nice",will no longer be heard by my ears
You gain respect,well in that case im goin to lose all of it
I used to care what people thought of me
But now that is just a thought,no longer fact
I could care less if people think im a jerk or a honest person
All I ever get is pain in me
No longer trusting the words people chose to speak with
No longer involved with opinion
No longer Giving a fuck
No longer Showing respect
No longer caring for my peers
No longer Loving any kind of girl
No longer Being honest with trustees
No longer showing trust
