Not a Poet Tonight
Maybe I am not going to be a poet tonight. But I am still going to write. I have a song inside of my heart. So I guess I am going to be singing tonight. I have a Queen on my mind, and my thoughts of her has me breathing in light. I remember her singing into my ear, singing me to life. Manifesting my dreams, and I am just a candle maker, and she is the flame and light, waxing me and giving me sight. And I love her like a graceful swan, loves a rippling lake. I am just a baker, but she is the frosting and the cake. Sleep is calling me, but the love that I hold for her is singing me awake. My Queen if you are my prison I don't want to escape. So I may night be a poet tonight. But I am still going to write. I love her in real time and real life, and if I become a dream maker. I am going to make her my wife.
