Bless my car oh mighty Jesus!
Many many years ago I was in a record store
While browsing through the new releases
I heard a crash outside
I ran out to see what was going on
One car has broadsided another
The car that had gotten broadsided was really fucked up
There was an old black woman in the front seat holding a handkerchief to her head
Her other hand she was holding Jesus's head that broke off of his body on her dashboard
She was mumbling and slightly rocking back and forth
She must have been a religious woman
A young man was asking someone to call an ambulance
Someone said one was on the way
There was no guts or mutilated kids so I turned to leave
I looked at the car with the old woman one last time
A sticker on the back bumper said "Jesus is in control"
