Echoes of Emotion
Regret:
In the echoes of choices past,
A hand scrubs, regret amassed.
Sighing heavily, burdened with woe,
Regret's bitter seed, beginning to sow.
Downturned mouth, a somber refrain,
Bending slightly, under regret's strain.
Shoulders low, burdened and bowed,
In regret's shroud, we're silently cowed.
Grief:
In the shadows where sorrow weaves its tale,
A vacant look, an empty sail.
Facial expressions slack, like a canvas bleak,
Tears rolling down, a silent creek.
Shaky hands betray the heart's lament,
Trembling lips, in grief they're bent.
Struggling to breathe, a weight unseen,
Grief's heavy burden, a constant sheen.
Envy:
Amidst the green hues of envy's grasp,
Eyes narrow, in envy's clasp.
Rolling eyes, a silent sigh,
Beneath the surface, envy's lie.
Clenching fists, a hidden strain,
Tightening jaw, a silent pain.
Crossing arms, a defensive shield,
In envy's field, our fate's revealed.
Fondness:
In the glow of affection's light,
Smiling with eyes, oh so bright.
Softening features, a tender caress,
In fondness's embrace, we find our rest.
Reaching out, longing to touch,
Yearning for closeness, oh so much.
A connection sought, in every glance,
In fondness's dance, we find our chance.
Survive:
Through regret's storm and envy's sting,
Grief's heavy burden, fondness's ring,
We navigate the tempest's roar,
Emerging stronger than before.
For in the echoes of emotion's sway,
We find the courage to face the day.
United in our human drive,
We endure, we persist, we thrive.
In the echoes of choices past,
A hand scrubs, regret amassed.
Sighing heavily, burdened with woe,
Regret's bitter seed, beginning to sow.
