You've hit several beats that I love, the brutality of nature, the fickle nature of affection, and dandelions, which are among the heartiest at weathering the storms, which you find yourself dancing in. But if the paintings blink, it's you, not them. Great stuff for spring!

These are really great. They touch on love, pain and there's humour for good measure.
I might borrow your format here and post some short ones like this.
The first one made me smile, the love letters struck a chord, and the last one about the flowers I found a tad sad as I thought on my own garden. I could die tomorrow but everything around me in nature will go on. Life is short.

I am especially taken with the last one as, at my age, I begin to think about such things. How the clouds will still be there, my mulberry tree will still leaf out, bear fruit, and my cat will live years beyond my demise. The earth will give birth again each spring, wither in autumn, rest in winter, and begin the cycle again.
