A Day of Sun and Self

I wake with a smile, etched on my face,
The sun's warm embrace, a gentle grace.
Through windows kissed by golden light,
A breezy welcome, fresh and bright.

No tasks to conquer, no deadlines near,
An effortless morning, calm and clear.
My mind, a canvas, blank and free,
No breakfast burdens, just pure glee.

The day unfolds, a lazy dream,
No need to rush, no frantic scheme.
Laundry done, a chore complete,
No chores to chase, my soul feels sweet.

No cleaning, no meetings, no need to explain,
Just me, myself, and the sun's warm rain.
A single person, on a Saturday's grace,
A day of self-love, a peaceful embrace.

I breathe in deeply, the air so pure,
A gentle stillness, a tranquil cure.
With every breath, I let go of stress,
And welcome peace, a true happiness.

This day is mine, a gift to savour,
To rest and reflect, and simply favour,
The quiet moments, the gentle breeze,
A day of relaxation, a soul at ease.
