dreams come to life as if yesterday
so many memories still awaken me
why doesn’t the past remain lost

every dream takes me back in time
where words of poetry flowed freely
now all is silent within my soul

perhaps a lesson has not yet been bloomed
words shackled to emotional reprieve
I’ve not been fair admitting cruel truth I gave

something in the misty purple moon light
seems different tonight as it casts judgement upon me
problem with you ending our friendship wasn’t ~

wasn’t YOU!

I’ve finally faced my weakness to admit ~

it was ME, yes I say again, it was ME!

I’m sorry for all the cruelty my purple ink wrote
if I know you, being the strong soul that you are
a side of you I will always admire, you’ve moved on

I just wanted to say sorry one last time
for the chance may never come to me again
you might not forgive this time either, but at least I asked
