I thought of an old haggard woman embracing a young damsel.  Then the old hag steals the damsel's youth, that kills the damsel.  However, it took the damsel's pain away.

That was a great interpretation. Thanks for sharing. What I was thinking when I wrote this was a guy murdering his girlfriends ex-lover who was abusive/violent/stalkerish towards her.
